dawn rise

dawn rise

A Poem by keith
"

waking from deep slumber

"
dawn rise

morning dawn rises lazily
waking from deep slumber

making way into the vast open
of the wintry sky
in effort to chase the cooling temperatures
the season has brought

the world yawns
its lifeblood gives pause

taking but moment to reflect
life is again renewed energized and gifted

Winter is too cold for some but I find it quite stimulating and energizing...
the summer depletes me...
I must be opposite of most.
I like the third stanza, although this poem certainly doesn't yawn...it is most expressive.

A slow sleepy start to the day. That's the way to rise in winter when it's cold outside.
