damned do damned dont

damned do damned dont

A Poem by keith
"

cost of freedom

"

damned do
damned dont
we live in a
damned do
damned dont
world
cratering comes at a price
standing ground
brings the wrath
of the oppressors
walking away
postpones the inevitable
the white flag
of surrender
is better served
wiping the tears of anguish
the tears of fate
the tears of fears
from the brows
of the defeated
question is
when is enough
enough
when is the time
to say
no
no more
how many are you willing
to sacrifice
in the interest of peace
a peace that comes at great cost
that in the end
is not peace
but a postponement
of impending dangers
when is the time to strike fire
within
to take the snake
and sever its head
from its slippery embodiment
when does one refuse
to turn the
other cheek
only to be struck down
again and again
and
again
enough
go ahead
push the goddamn button
a*****e
your end zone celebration
will be only
in your
sickened mind
push it already
PUSHITGODDAMNIT!

the universe can rest
peacefully
