Chapter 4
6/17 5:26 P.M.

"Haaah", the red haired 20 year old girl who was dressed in a pink formal blazer, a white polo top, a black office skirt and a high heels sighed as she dropped herself down on her seat. She was inside a coffee shop that served frappes and mousses instead of normal coffee. Sat in front of her is a guy who wore a gray beanie, a white shirt, skinny jeans and a simple pair of rubber shoes.

"I can't blame you for being exhausted, this week has been going crazy for me too.", said the guy while lifting up his drink.

"Well, in my case its just because of that incident earlier, I still can't believe something completely impossible happened, you know? Aren't you affected by all these?", asked the woman while stretching her arms downwards.

"For me, what's more troublesome is Haruka complaining about you taking your daily dose of OT again. Man, it kinda makes me jealous that even though I'm her boyfriend she complains more about you than me.", the guy commented while pulling the straw near his mouth.

"Ahaha~ Well she has always been a worrywart since we were kids, its not like having a boyfriend would make her forget her bestfriend. And if you do try to make her forget about me, I'm not gonna treat you to anything ever again.", the woman said as if to tease the man.

"Yeah, yeah. I'd be really stupid if I did something like that and anyways, seeing you two still caring about each other makes me happy as well... but... you know, Shiori, you shouldn't tire yourself too much. You really should spend some time for yourself too, you know? I know you're the one supporting your family, but with the way you're doing things you'll never get a boyfriend.", the man said as to advise the woman.

"I love working and that's enough for me. I don't really plan on having a boyfriend, that'll happen one day but for now I'm already content with what I have and I'm not really looking for anything else. So, you guys don't have to worry about me, okay? I'm fine, I'm really happy with my current lifestyle.", answered the woman as to relieve the man.

"Well, if you say so. I'll tell Haruka not to worry to much either, but still you doing OT every single day won't change her mood about the situation.", the man stated after taking a sip of his drink.

"I told you she's a worrywart, I'm sure she'll start lecturing you if you keep having OT shifts everyday too.", the woman said as she stretched her arms behind her head.

"Yeah, yeah. So enough about that, I wanna know what happened in the school earlier. All the other guys were laughing their a*s off when I came to the scene, so what exactly happened earlier?", the man asked while leaning his elbows on the table.

"Oh, about that. We tried to interview those girls that were closest to the scene when the incident earlier happened; well, that was our intention, unfortunately though, one of the girls got angry at us for interrupting their classes and threw her briefcase at our faces. It made me feel a little violated, but well I can't really blame her. After a while, I started laughing too, that's not something you'd see everyday.", the woman answered with her left elbow on the table and her left hand having its index finger pointed upwards.

"I can understand where you're getting at, haha. But that girl you spoke about sure is rude, she could've just politely declined you guys rather than throwing her bag at you.", the man spoke with a disappointed tone.

"You can't blame her, we just suddenly barged into their class and asked her questions, we looked more like suspicious people rather than news reporters.", the woman said as to defend the girl.

"It was actually quite a shock when we realized that the girls involved in the incident were from the Nakahara household; you know, those guys, the one with the company rivaling the Corteśan Industries. We really did just enter a very prestigious school, and we thought the one we needed to interview was just your average female student.", added the woman.

"A Nakahara? Wait why were they walking in the streets then? They own a lot of expensive cars as I heard, so why did they cross the roads without caution?", the man asked while contemplating about what the woman said.

"Well the streets were busy that time and since its the first day of their classes they probably didn't want to be late.", answered the woman.

"What about their safety? They might be kidnapped or something while walking through the streets. What if a car drives by and pulls them in? There's no way no one would attempt something if they were that vulnerable.", asked the man.

"Well, they do have a whole team of bodyguards to protect them, I'm sure they'll be safe as long as their bodyguards are around.", answered the woman.

"Yeah, I'd doubt anyone could get past them. I heard they're trained for action anyways.", the man agreed.

"... ...", the woman shifted her heads upwards and changed her friendly expression into a stern one. She stared at the ceiling for a couple of seconds when the man suddenly asked her something interrupting her thoughts.

"You're still thinking about the incident yesterday, aren't you?", the man said whilst trying to predict her thoughts.

"It's kinda obvious actually, you never make that expression unless you're really interested about a scoop.", the man stated.

"You know, I'm gonna tell you this. Whatever or whoever that man is, you should never associate yourself to him. He might be a really cool hero or whatever, but I'm sure that if you try to associate with him, you'll just endanger yourself.", the man said with a worried tone.

"Aha~ Well you got me. I'm interested, yeah. But there's no way I'd put myself in a dangerous situation just to satisfy my curiosity, so you don't have to worry. I doubt I'd even be able to see him anyways, and if I do, I'm not gonna ask him to brawl with me or anything of the like. I probably would just ask him a few questions that I had in mind, and after that I'd let him go.", replied the woman as she curled her lips to form a wry smile.

"Yeah, yeah. So, are you done now? Let's get going, Haruka's probably getting worried where I ran off to again.", said the man as he stood up from his chair.

"Sure, let's-"

*BOOOOOOMMM* The loud, earth shaking sound was heard throughout the whole area.

"What the!?.... Something just exploded from the market district!", exclaimed the man while staring at the transparent window

"Shiori, we need to-", he couldn't even finish his sentence when he noticed that the woman isn't on her seat anymore.

With shock in his eyes, he turned his head around and looked at the coffee shop's exit where he saw the woman running out of the coffee shop.

"DAMN IT SHIORI! DIDN"T YOU JUST SAY YOU WOULDN'T GET YOURSELF IN A DANGEROUS SITUATION! WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT! HEY! COME BACK HERE!", shouted the man as to call out the woman who ran out of the coffee shop.

'Man, my cousin really is such a handful', the man thought as he ran out of the coffee shop.

6/17 5:37 P.M.

A black slim Lamborghini was driving through a dark and long alleyway where sunlight doesn't reach.

Seated at the back of the Lamborghini were two teenage girls that had their heads turned towards the back glass of the car eyeing over the darkening sky.

The sky was already filled with an orange color at the time and in a few more minutes, the sun is about to set. But that orange color was immediately covered by thick gray smoke that spread throughout the area.

At the left-most end of the back of the Lamborghini is a huge muscular man in a formal suit whose hair was dyed blonde and styled as a spiky Mohawk. At the other end is a huge muscular man wearing the same suit and sunglasses, but his skin tone was white and his hair was a brown-dyed Mohawk. Both of this men had threatening appearances that can scare any average person. If anyone were to be asked they would say that they looked like characters from some sort of fighting game.

Between these two men were the girls said earlier who had their wrists and heels tied up by climbing rope. Due to this, they had their movements restricted and were limited the ability to move.

The smoke that originate from the market district rapidly climbed to the clouds spreading it's color on the skies and made it more and more obvious that a disaster had occurred in this place. People located in the area were panicking and with their lives in mind, ran as quickly as they can away from there just to avoid the howling flames and the smell of gray toxin.
The two girls both kept their eyes on the back window of the car gazing at the fire and the smoke trail it left. Their thoughts were filled with how their bodyguards, the ones that were professionally trained to protect them, the ones who have the most capability of saving them from danger, in a split second, was brought to their end by these evil men. They never had thought that there would come a day wherein the people that they gave their utmost trust in will be digging their graves with nothing but gunpowder on their skin.
'No... no... NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!', mae filled her mind with this word whilst trying to relieve her fear. 'THIS CAN'T BE! NO!... WHY?... WHY DID THIS HAPPEN!? NO! ... WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY? THEY... DON'T TELL ME... THEY'RE-'

"They're dead.", spoke the man with the blonde Mohawk with an intimidating tone.

A dread atmosphere filled the vehicle. His words became like a sharp knife that broke the last amount of hope they had left. Both Sheila and Mae widened their eyes with shock. Their thoughts became empty and was filled with nothing but fear. 'They're... dead?', the sadness slowly sipped into their heads but was toppled by the fear of what was about to happen to them next. No one could protect them, now. Even if the police try to come to their aid, they would just be outwitted by the criminals who were able to defeat the bodyguards who were trained more than a SWAT team. If they were able to predict the exact movements their enemy would do, they have probably already planned to eliminate any other people who might try to disrupt their evil actions from taking place. Knowing this, they couldn't help but let their blood ran cold and their faces were filled with nothing but dread. They don't know what these men are planning to do to them, but whatever their intentions are, whether they took them to receive a hefty sum of money or to take advantage of them, no one would be there to save them.

"HAHAHAHA, you fell for it, dumb b***h. They aren't dead. They're still exceptionally trained fighters. We wouldn't want to wage war against their agency, don't we? But, the way we injured them, they might as well have died. HAHAHAHA. Whoever trained them would probably just treat their injuries as 'battle scars' or some s**t since they're supposed to get their bones broken by their clients' side. If it weren't for our boss's request, we would have just bashed their skulls in. If it was me, I'd wish they'd just drop dead already. HAHAHAHAHA.", cackled the man, with an intimidating smirk written on his face.

"That was a great expression in your face, if you keep it, we might be a little 'gentler' with you later. HAHAHAHAHA", insinuated the brown Mohawked man with a devious, lusting grin.

Mae and Sheila had their hopes lifted up when they heard about the safety of their bodyguards and were glad that they weren't done for. But just a second after these men spoke their thoughts, their eyes were filled with even more fear than before. They don't know whatever these men are planning, but whatever it is they know that they're up to no good. They knew they couldn't do anything to fight back, so now... all they did, was wish for a miracle to happen.

6/17 5:55 P.M.

"I apologize, miss. We are sorry for what happened. Right now, we are dispatching a highly trained group to track down the location of the culprits in question. I assure you that once we figure out where they're located, we'll immediately come to their rescue... Miss, please calm down for now. Panicking won't do you any good.. We know, we know. We're giving it our all. Our team is doing the best of their efforts, so you do not have to worry... Miss.. Miss. Please just calm down and take a deep breathe... Miss. I'm sorry but I need you to stay calm... Miss.. Calm down... I'm sorry, miss, but I'm hanging up now."

"Who was that, chief Tojirou? Was that a relative of the victims?"

"It was their sister, she seems pretty anxious about the situation. She couldn't help but worry. I can't blame her, though, we're doing whatever we can but..."

"You're worried too, aren't you? It's written all over your face."

"I just can't get my head over this. Who were those people, and what the hell are they planning to do to those girls? First, they hurt innocent bystanders, now they-"

"Sir, I know that you can sympathize with them since you have daughters of your own as well. But we need you to stay calm, you can't just imitate the girl on the phone. If our team finds out that our chief is panicking right now, they might get discouraged and do their work less efficiently. If we want to get through this and rescue these girls, we need you to stay strong and let our team know that we have a capable leader on our side."

"*Sigh*.. Alright. But once we catch these vile criminals, I won't let them get away without a scratch on their faces."

"That's our chief, alright. Well, let's just try our best for now and see what we can do, I don't want to let those b******s have their way with innocent people as well."

The two blue clothed men spoke to each other as they stood inside a barricaded area right in the middle of the market district. :Police line do not cross: this was written all over yellow tapes enclosing the area. A bunch of officers and firemen were gathered around the area. Since the firemen had already put out the flames that was caused by the explosive, they were just about to leave and were just giving a report of their findings to the officers.

By the sheer number of people investigating the crime scene, you'd expect them to finish their work in no time at all... but in reality, nothing actually went as planned.

A huge sum of people were able to witness the goose chase between the culprits and the victims' bodyguards, but most of them lost sight of the occurrence when the explosive suddenly ticked off. The thick smoke also prevented those who were in the market vicinity to eye on their escape and thus, they lost sight on them in the area.

Some other witnesses who were in the direction of the culprits' escape route eyed in their escape, and should have known precisely which direction they took, but the
