Saved by an angel

Some people come into your life and just happen to save you more than once.

Every now and then someone walks into your life and saves you....


I didn't know how or why but a friendship bloomed. His quirky smile and soothing voice drew me in. We spent many nights talking about everything and anything. Time slowed to a halt when I was with him. He made me laugh and cheered me up when I was down. He made me happy without trying. He confided in me about his relationship as did I.
We never judged each other we just listened. This was what true friendship meant.
At some point my life fell apart and he was there. I had his shoulder to cry on and in every way imaginable he had become my angel. He saved me.

We weren't in love.. or were we?..

I'm not sure why or when but little by little we started drifting apart. Losing contact suddenly. But I never forgot him, my angel.

I truly miss him, but in all this, I know one thing......

Thank you for your kind comment. I'm sure we've all had a friendship like this and you just never got the chance to thank them for just being there. I believe in destiny maybe, just maybe someday I get the chance to thank my friend.
