Her battle

Her battle

A Poem by Angie G

Too many emotions hold her.
Like knives stabbing dead center.

Taking hits that tear her apart.
Blood dripping from the heart.

She's losing and can't fight back.
No point in trying to attack.

How she got to here.
It's no longer clear.

Darkness comes in an embrace.
Taking her to the final resting place.

Silence welcomes her body and soul.
Eternal peace, the final goal.

This is beautiful. Really speaks to people who have experienced loss or are just going through depression.

Sad one. Some people cannot handle what life brings when emotions are out of balance and overwhelming.
