Forever Alone

Forever Alone

A Poem by Angela Dawn Chambers
"

A story about being alone, and my pathetic life.

"
I am alone, and yet I am not alone,
I have people around, but yet they don't care,
I hide in my room, afraid of the day, and here, I stay,
I hide behind a smile, and don't dare frown,
Why am I so sad, and why is my life so bad?
Is it something I did, why am I so down?
I see daylight in the sky, but yet, I still want to die,
No one cares about me, that I see,
I watch television all night, and sleep all day,
I had no life whatsoever, it is sad to say,
And that is because I am alone, forever alone.
