In your lost momentsA Poem by angelina nevesAlbert's Poetry Cafe ~ Tovli's Ten! ~ Prose poem - Using all the words: dark , chair, weak, alive, beached , lavish, noise, sudden , laughter
Looking at you, little ones, I wonder what life will offer to you. Will you die old or young, weak or strong? Death can come when you are just sitting in a chair reading The earth trembles, a building falls apart on top of you Or you may have a car accident Or a hurricane or a big wave or a big fire can catch you Or a war maniac drops a bomb in the place you are resting Or your heart sudden fails while you are dancing in a party Why should you worry about our preservation? Life shouldn’t be a dark journey to the grave Thinking that if we scarify childhood, a pleasant love noise Knead, work, mold and preserve our bodies and morals We will get to the end beached and safe I wish your journey can be light an bright Sing your way your to the grave Be it long Be it short And may you always be alive, during the time you have to live Eat what you like, make lots of friends Love and do whatever gives you pleasure And may laughter come easily to you every single day When you get to the end of your journey With your body completely worn out or still young In your lost moments, be sure you can scream out loud: - It was all worth! What a lavish and beautiful journey! © 2010 angelina nevesAuthor's Note
