Water

Crystal flow

Inundate, refresh, and soak me

Refreshing!

Angelina, this is a lovely cinquain!
Water is so pure and refreshing, Im glad to see that you can master a great flow of words for this topic.
Nicely done!

Again I thank you teacher. :-)

Clear and vibrant soaring above the 'restrictions' of dictated form.

I have often commented to long form writers, "write poetry...learn to say it with less". With all the paper and all the ink in the world, we often lose our thread. The discipline of writing haiku or cinquain causes improvement.

TO WRITE A CINQUAIN:
At the most basic level a cinquain is a five line poem or stanza. Here are two variations.

Traditional Cinquain

line 1 - 2 syllables
line 2 - 4 syllables
line 3 - 6 syllables
line 4 - 8 syllables
line 5 - 2 syllables

Example: "Lovesong: - Treefrogs/ in my drainpipe/ seranading their lovers/ delight in keeping me awake /at night."

~~~ The modern cinquain is based on a word count of words of a certain type.
line 1 - one word (noun) a title or name of the subject
line 2 - two words (adjectives) describing the title
line 3 - three words (verbs) describing an action related to the title
line 4 - four words describing a feeling about the titlem, a complete sentence
line 5 - one word referring back to the title of the poem
Example: "Repose - Woodlands/ shelter the sprites,/ providing a safe place /to rest, after a big day of/ magic."
