Are you sure the sun doesn’t go to sleep?
Waking up the next day smiling
Just to tell us “good morning”

Perfumes are smiles from far away
The rain, are tears from the stars
That would like to come here to play

As flowers are butterflies that got tired
Butterflies are flowers flying
Animals have always something to say

Fruit trees are here just for children
To climb and hug and dream
And refuse to have an owner

And life can only be a merry-go-round
Trough mind’s mountains and vales
Hugs between “hallo and farewell” embracing the wind

As when we die we become poems
Swimming in the rivers of the love ones
And stars in the mind sky of the little ones
To shine for them whenever they need!

For a while, lost in this big universal carousel
Of thoughts, dreams and elusive illusions
I was dead to this daily reality

Until my grandchild arrive laughing
Coming in, just to resurrect me from the death!

Oh my dear friend this was brilliant. So many wonderful stanzas I was hard pushed
to select my favourite, but I think this one was:

"As when we die we become poems
Swimming in the rivers of the love ones
And stars in the mind sky of the little ones
To shine for them whenever they need!"

You have a wonderful fertile, magical mind and your inner child muse strongly influences
your ability to write with the freshness and innocence of the young.

Truly lovely poetry Angi.

What a beautiful ending to a very strong stream of thought. I could almost see the butterflies becoming flowers...

'.. As when we die we become poems / Swimming in the rivers of the love ones / And stars in the mind sky of the little ones / To shine for them whenever they need!

You've woven a series of pictures into a painting. Thank you for letting me share.
