Albert's Poetry Caf challenge: A prose poem using 10 words: BOX, REMAINS, PROJECT, OUTSIDE, FOREVER, MORE, VASE, ACT, ILLUSION, BREATHING

"

Who is far away?
It is always you
Never me

Time and distance if forever measured
From the place where I stand

I’m right here
Living inside this vase that is me
Holding a simple tenderness always in knots

Surrounded outside
By the remains of the illusion of some project
That was supposed to be ours
And new challenges, old friends
Billions of other lively things

The more you want to put everything in the same box
And trying to justify your attitudes
Don’t go on and on
trying to confound your resignation
With being sensible and wise

Crying over spilt milk is inutile and brings no good
We have to stand up and start the new day
Experimenting always a new better way out of the mess

Looking closer I just see you breathing in
Your desolation and uninteresting for life
Making as if you are displaying a great act of patience

Life is made of laughing away the disillusions
Dancing with this constant change
And make from each word a new challenge

I know how very hard it can be
To look for a lie and find a hurtful truth
That is why I can understand when you close your eyes
Refusing to see the reality spring around

You know where you can find me

I’m right here
Never far away from myself and my reality
Looking at the truth in the eyes
And never afraid of lies
