A Poem by angelina neves
"

Albert's Poetry Caf challenge - word: HANDBOOK - a poem no longer than 24 lines

"

Yesterday: meetings after school

- I hate those meetings
Square people full of themselves
Trying to rule over creative people

Today: study the new law
About children’s rights

- Well, it is necessary
To make a good pamphlet
Hoping something will change
For the better

Tomorrow: nothing written

- Could I invent?
A dream to fill up this page…

...

Tomorrow we have passed
An eternity holding hands
And you where smiling
Opening a door to a future!

As a former teacher, I can relate quite well to your good poem! I love the way you divided the poem into three chronological parts. It reminded me of the three parts in the plan book: Objective, Procedure, and Assignment.

Thanks for entering the "Handbook challenge."
