a good spell

Albert's Poetry Café - RONDELET

"

Trying out a good spell
Invitation for a washing away all fear
Trying out a good spell
Like flying dreamy balloons of whishing you well
Find out secretes behind secretes of frozen tear
Burying hells giving space for ideas to come clear
Trying out a good spell

Author's Note

angelina neves
RONDELET: A septet or seven line stanza with two rhymes and a refrain - the refrain is six syllable (Tetrasyllabic) or four syllables ( Dimeter) . The rest of the lines are twice as long (8/12 syllables) Tetrameter - Rhyme pattern : A / B / A /A / b / b /A - A signifying the repetitive refrain.

* Note: I would love if I could place the 4th line at the end, before the refrain! but then I would spoil the Rondelet!!!
:( sad!!

I wish you were nearby. I would sit at your table and learn. This Rondelet is so expressive. Crazy sounding while communicating everything intended. :-)

I like your rondelet. Just one suggestion: correct the spelling of "secrets." It is not spelled "secretes."
I always try to spell-check my poems because once I lost a poetry contest because I did not look over my work and I had misspelled a couple of words.

Please tell me the missed spelling was deliberate, it makes the whole effort hilariously funny.

I'll take "good" any day! I'm certainly no expert on this form, but I thought your poem made sense. :-) Sharon
