Independence is the song

I came to sing to myself

To you, to the entire world!

To be independent

we have to love ourselves

and others and nature and life

smiling at the stones in our ways

as helpers to us get near our stars!

Independence

is the joy of being responsible

for each step we take

refusing in any circumstances

to be the victim of some complot!

It is when we do as we like

choose what we whish for

with out being afraid

of strangers or friends

it is hearing attentively

the beat of our heart

the need to share experiences

to think, deduce and reflect

Independence is our mouth

and the ears we have

to successful debate and exchange

ideas and ideals about love and peace!

Success

is the freedom of leading our lives

The road we travel alone

when not sure where it ends

It is when we accept others as they are

and give up putting order in everything

It is walking carefully but with out fear

drawing our own maps

as we try something different

Success is the energy of unity

with life, with nature

and with the differences in others

the triumphant our interior light

letting it shine bright!

Triumph

is being aware all Earth is ours

knowing we can invoke gods and muses

because magic is what lives inside us

It is our dance with the problems

facing all situations

The decision to learn everyday

looking at old things from another side

with a new light

Triumph is the matter we are made

the duality in everything we have

it is the way we establishes the differences

equilibrating with care and respect!

It is not a search for strenght

or power

but looking for passion and love

Love

is to make from the self a work of art

that we, ourselves, can admire

with no need of approval

of medals or recognitions!

It is to destroy walls and frontiers

moving to the rhythmic of situations

Softly, harmonic in wonder

knowing we will not die

before trying to know the unknown!

Love unites all our energies

and all the material of body and mind

to create, plant and spread

peace, respect and beauty!

It is making syntheses

and finding the essences

of all that is real important

always and forever respecting

the independence of others!

Independence is the song

I came to sing to myself

To you, to the entire world!

I am in absolute awe! Angi, this was brilliant. I have no other word for it.
You had me from.....
"Independence is the song I came to sing to myself
To you, to the entire world!"........to the finish and inbetween!

Such wisdom comes through your heart and soul and manages to flow
on to the page, like you are an "old sage". I'm not implying you are "old" or
anything, heaven forbid! rotfl.....but I'm sure you know what I mean by
that.
