![]() Im ImperfectionA Poem by angelina nevesHello Perfection! I’m Imperfection Please to meet you!
I collect experiences Of being pregnant with life A mother, a friend, a lover But I forgot to collect impressions Of being indispensable And my agenda is never booked up I collect time to make nothing And do everything I like As dancing with a baby in my arms Or writing down my thoughts Not worried if they will be published
I know, Perfection you like to think you are indispensable And you have not much time to spend, waist, share or spare with little nonsense’s of life But, understand, Perfection I’m Imperfection!
I collect independence The freedom thinking feeling I don’t collect shame and faults I’m never ashamed to collect pleasure! I collect the music singing in my head And the feelings of looking at the moon I collect my observations About life, people and beauty A breeze coming from the sea Caressing my face I don’t care to collect evaluations As I have nothing to prove
I know, Perfection you love to have high marks At everything, every where, all the time And you aim to be the best, the better And would like to be most important Well, as I told you, Perfection: I’m Imperfection!
I collect the privilege of valuing Each piece of me collect ways to respect others And refuse to collect any kind of slavery Spying our life trough every window I don’t collect demons I collect interesting things in life! I collect things you can’t see! I don’t need to kip them safe In a bank or behind close doors No one can rob them from me!
I know, Perfection you love what shows out What makes a good impression and shines brigh In being a slave of working With time agendas And duties and sacrifices Saving everything in banks And you have to defend your self from that collection of demons you have to create! I know, Perfection I’m just Imperfection!
I never collect chocolates but tastes Smells, sounds, feelings I buy books just to collect ideas! I have a collection of warm smiles Embraces, whispered love words…
I see, Perfection! My collections are of no interest to you
Any way, Perfection it was nice to have met you And I’m sorry you can never convince me I still prefer to be the freely Imperfection!
