what completes us?

what completes us?

A Poem by angelina neves

If the body is the beginning and the end
The body is the limit, our border
Why does it gives us this feeling of being incomplete?

Missing extensions, lacking the beyond us
And there are the desires and frustrations
The passions and the dreams

Traveling in dreams that die
To be born new in the next one
In this permanent need to be linked
to be without boundaries

With a body full of molecules, cells, bacteria ...
We always want something more
what completes us?

From where does it come the thirst for complements
the need to search for connections, for illusions?
Replacing dreams with other dreams

Beyond the body, we are, perhaps
The wind blowing in and out our noses
The water running through our body
The endless beginning of once upon a time...
