Clock

Clock

A Poem by Deidre
"

Just a poem about memories

"

Have you ever seen a clock?

I mean it--really

Ever tried to look inside?

Past the white face

And the secured black hands

You'll find something amazing

You'll find a multitude of memories

Their just sitting right there

For you to see

Looking past the face and hands

What do you see?

Remembering your first day at school?

Or perhaps your first dance lesson?

Remember your first guitar

Or your first dance at prom?

Remember your first last kiss?

Or maybe your first and last only one?

These are the things that hide in these clocks

They wait to be seen and heard

So take the time to see a clock

This is like having flashbacks
from a movie almost

Where the guy stares at the clock
then memories start to play

Great write

all the questions made this piece a little cumbersome.
You may want to retool this, so the flow is not staggered.
