ClockA Poem by DeidreJust a poem about memoriesHave you ever seen a clock? I mean it--really Ever tried to look inside? Past the white face And the secured black hands You'll find something amazing You'll find a multitude of memories Their just sitting right there For you to see Looking past the face and hands What do you see? Remembering your first day at school? Or perhaps your first dance lesson? Remember your first guitar Or your first dance at prom? Remember your first last kiss? Or maybe your first and last only one? These are the things that hide in these clocks They wait to be seen and heard So take the time to see a clock © 2008 Deidre |
