No, Go

No, Go

A Poem by aspiring-novelist-angel

Wide-eyed, restless;

I feel so senseless.

Bright blue eyes

Lows and highs.

Fairytales,

Tries and fails…

Pain I suffer

Happy lover…

Feels so epic

But now I’m just sick.

I want out

But there’s doubt

I love the boy

Tremor and joy

Is it worth the bad?

All we had?

No.

I hear myself… “Go…”

This speaks to me of learning to trust your instincts, when your head and heart go to war, and the voice inside is telling you something you might not want to hear. Nice flow, good work.
