What would the world be like

without sound?

What would it feel like

to never hear anything?

Rely only on your sight

smell touch and taste

to get you through the day?

How could we communicate

without sound?

Gestures and motions

and actions is all we could do

Facial Expressions

the key to existence

Communication

forever the same.

What would it be like

without music?

Could I even survive?

No way to express

through liquid emotion

my feelings of days

over and to come?

Those ivory keys

would be forever motionless

frozen

without

a purpose.

What would the world be like without sound?

and don't tell me fewer line breaks. I can't do that.

I think it's cool. Good question, and good exploration of that awful possibility. No music? That would suck! Anyway, if you can't do fewer line breaks, then do more. A few of your lines run awkwardly long and knock the shape and flow out of line.
Like:
"would be forever motionless"
to
"would be forever
motionless"

That might give it a bit more appeal. Even up the lines.
