This sure brings back the memories. I remember the promise of FOREVER. It sure did hurt when it turned out to be a lie. When, it comes to those emotional memeories? Each time they would suraface, I would stuff them deeper and deeper down inside to where I could no longer feel them. Even today my friend, they still come back to me from time to time. And, if though I know it is truly over, it still causes pain, when those memories resurface again. I just stuff them back down, deep inside. This truly touches me. I can relate to so much of it. You wrote it beautifully.
Sincerely, your poem brought tears to my eyes.I love a blue-eyed man myself. I don't know how the promises and vows are for i'm too young for that but in my heart i feel that no one will ever take his place in my life.
Your poem is very very touching.I loved it:)And i'll keep it in my library as a favorite.

Thank you for joining this week's Dream challenge! I felt the emotion, grief, and sadness of loss in your well-written poem. It's a story many have lived, and your lines perfectly capture the feeling of being swept away. Sharon
