First, I want to thank you for taking the time to have chosen such a pretty backdrop to illustrate this poem
in a lustrous way- I love the lilac color, which makes me feel so peaceful and calm when reading, and the cherub angel floating above, like Cupid's messenger, delivering this fantastic pentameter.
Interesting to think of a rosebud hearing God's voice when He calls- as if every creation on Earth has ears to listen to the creator, and I wonder what He has to say to a rose?
Very, very curious, then, am I; am the rose.
