Water Weaver

Water Weaver

A Poem by light and ashes
"

Veil me in stars, (Yuumei) Wenqing Yan

"
Weaver of Water,

the surface shimmering like a second Sky,

reflecting brilliant Starlight.

You are the Weaver of Beauty.

Your hips are like the waves,

beautiful and full....

moving like the rhythm of the tides.

They move with deep meaning.

You are life.

You are water, flowing out clear and true with Divine purity.

The sister of Mother Earth,

without you she would not have her being,

you, oh, Luminous Saint,

of Starlight.

You are Heaven's angel.

You are the Sacred Protector of Life,

and the Guardian of Dreams.

This is a beautiful personification of nature. You are a word weaver who honors the water weaver. :)

Your review made me genuinely smile....thank you.
This my friend is a shimmering example of how beauty, simple pure beauty can be painted upon a page with words. No colors, no flowing lines just words that create a picture so lovely that the mind cannot help but see the vision the artist witnessed. I just felt soothed by this piece. Wonderfully done. I am in awe of your talent.

Your kind words mean a lot to me.
Thank you so much for reviewing.
I have an affinity with water. Whether it is rivers, streams, lakes or oceans or even the raindrop. I love the wonderful imagery that your lines have gifted. I also thought of my mother. Her birth sign Aquarius and the anniversary of both death and birthday within the last few days. She was my flowing water too. Thank you for sharing Light and Ashes.
