A voice that doesn't sing

A voice that doesn't sing

A Poem by light and ashes

Sometimes I feel like a bad key on a piano.
Sometimes I feel like a bad string on a guitar.
Sometimes I feel like an off violin in a symphony.
I feel like the one thing that is off in the Universe.
The seasons follow their time, the planets revolve around the Sun,
and here I am doing nothing.
I feel like a prodigy, without her genius.
I feel like a chess player who has forgotten how to play chess.
Sometimes I feel like a flat note being sung by a beautiful voice.
Sometimes I feel like the only bad note in a symphony,
throwing the whole thing off, disrupting the masterpiece,
turning it into a cacophony.

great poem here LA. while i understand the sentiment, let me bring a little ray of shine into the picture. Sometimes, by its very nature, is a word that allows for hope and pleasure. if only because of all the other times when you feel to paraphrase, like an in tune key playing chopsticks on an upright piano, or as one who's grown enough to be, if not a genius, at least a wizened soul alert to the world around them

Thank you for that.
I had to read each line because it grew, any action creates a reaction beautiful how you bring reality with the same message but with a twist blind by what we create.
Excellent write.
Thank you for sharing.
