Aquarius

The Humanitarian, the revolutionary thinker, the deep thinking logic based sign. Aquarius is both logical and deeply emotional.. forever dipping their toes in both pools of thought.

Aquarius,
that beautiful,
unexplainable Air sign,
who is everything at once,
carrying water from the Heavens like a kind of Prometheus.
You are forever misunderstood by those who can not understand your complexity.

Oh yes, I feel the Aquarius sign is often misunderstood for being a cold-hearted sign when really they are just in their own happy world. Lovely piece about a sign just as beautiful as the rest!

I think every sign has a bad rep like Virgos are labeled as nerdy know it alls, Cancer are labeled as being overly emotional and scorpios are labeled as dangerous and creepy. Sometimes astrology can't be trusted for this reason as it depends on your perception of what it means to be an Aquarius or Virgo etc

I love the mention of Prometheus, one of my favourite characters in myth. Aquarius really is like Prometheus, but bringing water. Definitely, both are gift-givers. I feel like Prometheus got the short end of the stick though. The whole being picked at by an eagle shows that Zeus is inexplicably cruel. I loved the poem, thank you so much for sharing.

I can't disagree with what you have written. Aquarius was the birth sign of my mum, soon to have her ashes scattered. A beautiful soul who had time for everyone. A short poem which has significant meaning for me.
