Either death is not kind. I want more tale my dear friend.

Sadly if you were accused of witchcraft in medieval Britain you were subjected to the ducking stool. If you drowned you were innocent, if you survived you were burned at the stake. Done for, either way.

Absoultely, ridiculous.
I like the use of me.
Personal poetry hits the spot.

If thay were to have thrown you
from a presapiss.. It would have
less power and messy hair.

This is a short poem but i feel like it’s length gives it more power and meaning

Nicely said in two short sentences! And sometimes they never give up!

:) ........
Your write reminds me that persecution comes in many forms - the most common being religious, racist or political, though there is naturally some overlap between these terms. But there is also another which is one of just being ‘YOU’! We need to have strong character to resist such discrimination... :-)

Thank you for understanding and for your review.
They never give up , do they? They couldn't burn your spirit... it is the good witch within you that is stronger than them. A lot said here in this short poem.
Best, B.

Gee
Survive one thing and they'll throw something else at you.
Imagine surviving the ducking stool only to the be burned....ouch.

Difficult to kill the
witch within..
try as they may..
they'll never win

Nice piece of brevity

this can have so many more meanings than the obvious...
they tried to get me to quit...they made me feel overwhelmed...

but the real witch floats.
and they never know the difference.
