The Dawn

The Dawn

A Poem by light and ashes

My midnight that was as black as an abyss
will rise into a brilliant dawn
like a phoenix being reborn from the ashes.

This is the third poem I've read today that refers to a Phoenix rising up from ashes (love that imagery!) I do believe there might be a trend among our collective consciousness! *smile* Fondly, Margie

Thank you!
Simple and elegant. The message is quite clear for all and tells quite a spectacular one. I look forward to more. Write on, my friend!

Thank you, Dreamer.
This a lovely poem.
Every morning we are re-born.
It feels very much Japanese in tone.

Thank you Jacob.
Wonderful and powerful words shared my friend. I believe we are reborn often in a life. We change faces and we can become wiser. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.
