Crows

Crows are one of my favorite birds.
They know the dark and barren places.
Their wings that are black as an abyss still fly.

Crows are my least favourite bird because I associate them with death. On the plus side, they are supposed to be intelligent and I have seen them mourn for the loss of another and that was touching to witness. Crows in a field of cut corn remind me of musical notes on a score sheet, that is another plus. You got me thinking here.
