I AM A BUTTERFLYA Poem by angelina blue"Written with the realization that I was my own prison and I held the key. Written after I had done a lot of soul searching after a painful ordeal and found a new zest for life that I never felt before"
I AM A BUTTERFLY
The air was stagnant for so long like a frozen river that used to flow still as an ocean that lost her tide but now I have finally arrived I AM A BUTTERFLY out from the cocoon since Octobers dreary nights hidden for so long but now metamorphosis ed and I know I AM A BUTTERFLY With glorious wings new and strong in which to fly a beckoning a calling cries out to me Live each and every moment unencumbered and free! Soar like an eagle high! I am no longer hidden and still I AM A BUTTERFLY Colors that are vivid colors that are true I have a awakened like spring I see my reflections in a morning dew quiet in contemplation but so alive like a new born deer I have finally arrived! opened my eyes stretched my wings I AM A BUTTERFLY And the songbirds are singing
