IT'S A COLD DARK NIGHT THAT CALLS TO ME THAT WHISPERS MY NAME IN THE GLOOM AS IT DRAWS ME OUT FROM THE SAFETY OF MY COMFORTABLE DARKENED ROOM THE FROSTY AIR FREEZES MY FACE AS I STAND THERE IN THE NIGHT THE TREES AROUND ME STAND SO STILL AS THE WIND TAKES AWAY MY SIGHT I'M COLD AND I WANT TO HUNKER DOWN OR AT THE MOST GIVE THE WIND MY BACK JUST PUT ONE FOOT IN FRONT OF THE OTHER I SAY WHISPERING WORDS OF COURAGE I LACK I WANNA SAY I WALKED AS FAR AS IT TOOK TO OVERCOME THIS EMPTINESS INSIDE BUT INSTEAD I RAN JUST AS FAST AS I COULD BACK TO MY COMFORTABLE DARK ROOM TO HIDE ANGELEA PAUGH 12.12.2016 © 2017 angeleapaughFeatured Review
