WHEN THE MORNING COMES BROKEN WITH THE WIND BITTER COLD I WANNA RIDE OUT MY EMOTIONS WATCH THE DAY JUST GROW OLD I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE DARK TO ENVELOPE ME WHOLE TO CARRY AWAY PIECES THAT ARE PARTS OF MY SOUL MY EYES THEY ARE SHUT BUT THEY ARE STARING INSIDE AT THE ME THAT IS DISTANT AT THE ME THAT I HIDE I SHIVER ALL OVER AT THE THOUGHTS THAT I THINK AND I WORRY THAT SOME DAY I'LL RISE TO THE BRINK THAT I WILL CROSS OVER WITH NO WHERE TO GO NO PLACE NO DIRECTION NO ONE THERE THAT I KNOW EACH DAY IS A MEMORY THAT I TEAR AND I FOLD AND I WRAP THEM AROUND ME AS I STAND IN THE COLD ANGELEA PAUGH 11.20.16 © 2017 angeleapaughFeatured Review
