Chicken noodle soup

I love chicken noodle soup,lol, so I thought i'd share these words..

Chicken noodle soup

Soothing my sore throat

Nice and warm

Yum, yum, yum

First I sip the broth from a spoon

I like to make the annoying sound

Slirp, slirp, slirp,

When no one else is around

It warms my taste buds

With warm broth delight

On a cold winters night

Even in the summer sun

So bright

Yellow as the sun

Chicken noodle soup

Yes, yes, yes this was a great and funny poem for what is a person who's sick best friend. I used to do that annoying sound when I was married,lol. Might have to make some more with the leftover chicken I have too!

Yum! Love chicken noodle soup. I've had a cold and have been eating it this weekend. It is great to eat when you have cold. Always have several cans in my pantry just in case! Lovely poem, including the slirps.
