Color in RainA Poem by Victoria Scott"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...it's about learning to dance in the rain." -Unknown
Strangers pass along the street
Teardrops drenching their dreary coats Daring so much as eyes to meet So as not to reflect their weary souls. Nothing protects them from within Beneath the coat, under the skin, If only the edges of their heart weren't so thin And the rain could not penetrate through color. If only a heart could be bought an umbrella A colorful one to ease away the pain Giving the illusion that the sun will shine again, That even hope could be found in the rain.
