I Cry in Unseen Places

I Cry in Unseen Places

A Poem by Victoria Scott
"

This is for those of you who feel like life is hopeless right now, i feel that way to, but you have to realize if this is your worst, then things can only get better :)

"

The feeling….dreadfully you know.

The one that makes you sick to your stomach,

The one that convinces you that no one cares

That no matter how much you make it obvious no one wants to listen.

That as long as there are clouds then there will be rain, and as long as there is sun it will only go away.

There is a point in between the seconds when you’ve cried every tear

And your emotions have been so stretched that they cease to be anything but numb.

So in your darkness you do nothing but stare into the non existent space

You do nothing but cling to the feeling of hopeless depths.

Maybe time will shut it down and the sunrise will make you realize how much I love you.

Maybe when you lift your head to the rain you’ll see it was there to wash away your tears, not reflect them.

Your right, the sun doesn’t always last, but then neither does the rain.

So lift your head, let the breeze take your cares away and enjoy the moments you’ve been given.

When you look back from the end of your road, feel no regrets

Hold onto nothing

Let go of what you think the future holds, because beyond the bend we have no idea.

Always know that when you cry in unseen places, I see you.

Always realize that when you think no one hears your pleas to be heard, I hear you.

Always recognize that when you think no one understands, I do.

Always remember that when you’re alone and no one is around, I am.

Reach up for me as a child does, for her daddy picks her right up and holds her only closer to the warmth of the sun.

Don’t drown in your tears, take my hand and follow me into the rain, the day isn’t as hopeless as you make it.

So come, the beat in the steady drum of the storm is calling, the sun will shine again, and peace is in the calm of the aftermath.

I enjoyed this as I know this was a personal reflection into past events, and I think you really captured God's call to you, while you sat in the abyss of numbness. Redemption comes sweetly

wow, I think it is so true, and it just goes to show you we all need to look for people who are crying in unseen places.
