HeartBeatA Poem by Victoria ScottI was sort of inspired by the song Stereo Hearts :) its not all that great but I thought id post it anyway haha
I feel the base in every beat
I feel the rhythm in every street I hear the sound from every note The radio tunes the words we wrote. The lyrics stand as thought to be To you heart, I hold the key The volumes raised up to the sky Drowning out its every cry. The wind whistles our lullaby The leaves quench its calming sighs The music fades to you and me As we lift our voice in harmony. Maybe here beneath the stars, Or near the sounds from passing cars, Maybe if love lifted up in voice Then every word became every choice. We don't need the stereo To open secret hearts to show To every fan in every row As if we aired on the radio. So tune our hearts to be entwined So the beat won't leave us both behind. We'll take our music, hit the street Play every note on every sheet, Until the rhythm hits our feet, And our hearts, in halves, they meet, To sing along with the melody.
