![]() One DayA Poem by Victoria Scott![]() This is more of a personification poem, its not that good but I might as well post it ;)![]() One morning A knock sounded upon the doors of time While I was having tea In the great summer sun The knock resounded forth What did it want with me? What was I worth? So I went over and opened the door Only to find pictures Dancing across the doorway Pictures of the now and before. And then pictures I had never seen Flitted across the door ways screen I was older, wiser There were children and relatives I was the patriarch The undoubted advisor The pictures stopped And left my doorstep I went back and sat down My tea was cold, just so my heart I will grow old One day.
