Broken Arrows

Broken Arrows

A Poem by Victoria Scott
"

This poem just kind of came from me and I didn't even realize what I was writing until I read it again...so it means whatever the reader wants it to mean.

"

Feeling the depth of emotion beat against your breast of longing

and solitude and silence to all mankind.

To walk the deep sea beneath trembling wake which throw beside

it sorrow and grim bearing; watching a light gleam against the

painful hours drifting softly into the soul of awaiting memories.

Darkness closes into the chasm of broken hearts.

How deep does mankind’s arrows pierce our very souls, till no

feeling can be felt, till no ends to begin?

We do not know.

Only a mournful rain takes the place of that we hold so dear, and

drenches the heart into complete nothingness.
