The Changing of Sun's Time

The Changing of Sun's Time

A Poem by Victoria Scott

The sun rises above the hew

To wish the world anew

No matter how, or here, or far

No matter where in the world we are

It never ceases to amaze

With sun a ‘glarin or eavnin haze

It opens up the world to play

To new adventures everyday

Evening time brings Papa home

And gives the dog a chance to roam

The family is together at last

To talk and to remember the past

Yet, oh alas, the day is gone

Now to sleep and wait for dawn

The stars start twinkling their final goodnight

Till the morning’s life brings new light.
