Tears

Tears

A Poem by Victoria Scott

There you see the flowing river

As tears fall down to touch the withered.

I feel the peace the pure water gave,

And yet the wind came;

Picked up the tears and put them away.

My sorrow filled my heart with pain,

And as I write this I go insane.

I want to feel those tears again,

But I have hardened to deep in sin.
