sweet Tea TeaseA Poem by Starrbittmm good
*I am on the trampoline. My throat is dry , so are my lips. I can barely talk.*
The butterflies made of ice fluttered their cold wings against my cheecks in each sip The sweet sugary nectar tickling the back of my throat The drenched dew drops moisten my sweating tongue , dampining my sunburnt lips *My back is turned towards the sun , the heat is unbaring! Sweat continues to fal off my face. I swirl the cup in thought. Hmmmm....the ice clinked against the glass , my fingers wrapped around a chill.* ~The stunning sun burns her way through my shirt , and begs my skin to sweat so she can cool off~ The song of ice people tapping their frozen fingers on the glass , looking for escape , cold to my ears The chill of the tall frosted cup beckons me , whispering "Come here. Come on in. I got sweet tea!" The beautifull liquid sparkles and glistens , laughing at me , I'm about to dive in ~Then I remember , I'm to big , the glass to small , sweet tea , it's all a sweet , sweet , tease~ © 2012 StarrbittAuthor's Note
