SorryA Poem by angtypical solution for an argumentI am sorry A meaningless phrase 3 vowels 5 consonants The most used cliché Everyone says it A last resort But it comes up quickly To make the arguments short The significance is there When used correctly The circumstances are rare Understanding it whole heartedly I say it too often But with my entire being Put myself in your shoes Don't like what I'm seeing Your pain is mine I've crossed the line Hurt myself in my actions What it did to you I could only imagine A waterfall of emotions falls from my heart I try and convert it to words but don't know where to start The glistening waterlines dry on my face The emotions I feel have been displaced I cry because I can't word my thoughts They eat inside me 'til I'm distraught I'll be honest with you I'm not gonna lie I can't cry anymore My tear ducts are dry The tears come from your hurt, my pain Treating you wrong makes me go insane So I'll say it again but with more than my being Hopefully now this phrase has some meaning A simple 3 words to fix a whole awful lot 3 vowels 5 consonants I am sorry But you're probably not © 2015 ang |
