The Boy Of My Childhood

The Boy Of My Childhood

A Poem by Angela Hunter

The boy of my childhood

We spent our winters kissing under the snowfall
Our summers lying on the grass, embracing the stars
We spent our days in alternate realities
And our nights speaking love by the roadside

This boy was handsomeness to me
And I beauty to him
And nothing in the world could tear us apart
But the beautiful destruction in our own youthfulness

Many years have passed, and much has happened
Yet beside me he is still
The attitudes of lovers long hung up
And replaced with the graces of friendship

I would trade everything to keep him,
And nothing less,
For the boy of my childhood

"This boy was handosomeness to me" In this line, I think that you should choose a different word. Besides that, it was well written. Good job!
