Reflection of Cybele

Reflection of Cybele

A Poem by angela.absinthe

I am overflowing with light and love
Tormented by a heart always
Bleeding, aching, pleading, breaking
Craving the touch of the one that pulled me from the ashes

My soul is an open book
bound backwards and penned with invisible secrets
all is written between the lines
seek and ye may find

I dream of sleep
and sleep to dream
My refuge
My haven
My sanctuary

I am an instrument of death
and birth
The moon is my mother
and the tides her gently guiding hand

The Earth breathes within me
Dying
Crying
Persevering

I am small and soft and Powerful
Fragile, delicate, Vulnerable
Hard as diamonds
My touch can heal
and my gaze can break the strongest will

I am full of light and love
but the darkness hides deep within
softly glimmering

I really do dig your stuff its just that it seems the beginnings are always strong and straight forward and then you get lost in your thoughts nearing its completion.

Truly I dig the second stanza...
"My soul is an open book
bound backwards and penned with invisible secrets"

Post more hip cat I am following you.
