that which you said again

that which you said again

A Poem by a-faint

i.

yesterday,

the lights did not flicker,

and I wouldn't know why.

the wind couldn't scrape,

the rain shouldn't whip,

and you shouldn’t have been

a-framing snowfall.

ii.

staggering nightfall returns to my grasp.

iii.

how can you dream truthfully

in the absence of thunder?
