Spin

Spin

A Poem by a-faint

I am... waiting for turbulence to end.

the bluntness of your words

slipped between edges of the wind

threadbare wings from a grey-veiled past

are lassos and spinelessness

clutching me from the inside

with the fierceness of a spiral stranglehold

throbbing from saturated nightmares

i can feel it struggling in my throat

and thrusting against my eardrums

the fractionless deepening-

a nice poem!! this:

"clutching me from the inside
with the fierceness of a spiral stranglehold
throbbing from saturated nightmares"

... is brilliant! Although, the third stanza could be changed a little as it reads a little abruptly with the "spinelessness" but the first line of it is great! welcome to writers café
