What does it feel

To love

And be loved?

Does it feel

Like the fairy tale stories

We know?

Loving and blissful.

All with a happily ever-after?

Like the way

Cinderella met her Prince Charming.

Like the way

Snow White kissed hers.

Or does it end

All in heartbreak?

Tragic and sorrowful.

Like the time

When Romeo kissed

his beloved good bye;

And plunged the knife

To join Juliet thereafter?

What does it feel

When your beloved

Kissed you?

Does it all

Go with fireworks?

The world melting away.

Your heart beating wildly.

Everything just giddy.

Or does it feel

Like the sweetest of summer

And the freshest of spring?

Pure and loving

Soul abiding.
