My Wish

I wish we could go back
To the way things were.
To the way it's been.

I wish I could gaze
And trace your face.
To see you smile
And wonder why.

I wish with all my heart
And God make it true.
For two wishes new,
Please make it true.

I wish for a kiss
So filled with bliss.
I wish for a hug
That make a-tug.

That make a-tug
Of my heart strings.
