God's Gift

God's Gift

A Poem by Angel Bluestocking

Why do we give so freely that God gave?

It's not Life, I meant Love.

We give it so freely that there comes a time that you were mistaken to give it.

Nowadays, Love isn't given value.

It only became a word; a vocabulary.

Used everyday without knowing the true weight of what that word meant.

Love is like a gift.

When new, its valued and everywhere with you.

But when there's something else that's new...

The old gift becomes a junk.

Something not to give care for.

Something so easily discarded.

Often love is treated this way and it shouldn't be, well penned.
