Why Do We Love?A Poem by Angel BluestockingIt's simply an emotion. A ticket to vulnerability. It's nothing but a pain. Yet a sensation of bliss. It's just a thought formed and believed. Believed so well that we really thought it was real. Why must we let ourselves be weak by such an emotion? When all it cause is pain? It is an anomaly; it is a mystery. A mystery so enticing, that we succumb. It is a dagger through your heart when broken. It is a shadow looming in your life. It is something to enjoy, but simply for the moment. It is blissful, yet shortly lingering.
