An Ugly Truth

An Ugly Truth

A Poem by Scytheriax

Older poem based off of EZ and blended with one of his favorite musicians.

"
An Ugly Truth
You beat against me like wings
A gentle feel, but powerful
Ushering me into the storm
Of all the things I was afraid to face
And I hated you for it
Or so I thought

No
I did not hate you
I hated myself for lacking courage
Never realizing you were by my side
And thinking I was alone

I'm sorry for everything
I loved you, but hurt you
I only wish I could have told you
Have you found happiness?
I hope for you the way you hoped for me
And I finally understand.

Author's Note

Scytheriax
I really didn't proofread this at all, to be perfectly honest. The flow might be off.
I honestly don't even know.
But yeah, here's a first poem after an I-don't-even-know-how-long hiatus.
