Beautiful Ride

Beautiful Ride

A Poem by Megan

Burn right through me

In an instant you are gone

Leaving behind feign warmth and charm

I had wanted you for so long...

This overactive heart of mine

Isn't ready for crude goodbyes

It longs to have that belittled feeling

Of searching your wondering eyes

Those words I thought worth millions

They echo in my mind

So quickly you had it ended

I'm not your kind

Over this ugly time

These feelings couldn't abide

However I can't deny

It was a beautiful ride...
