Kingdom of LykersA Poem by Aneek Acharya Pandit
Midst
the lake of inks, a Leviathan's paradise; a
bewildered lady, waiting under the evaporating moon. Haunted
by the boon of thoughts of fantasies of Lykers- a
kingdom of fathomless fathoms. There
under the garden of devil, a god-ish lady with
long flowing jet black hair and sparkling eyes, folding
her thoughts in her sacred womb, conspiring
a Romeo's-tomb with her morals and conscience, sabotaging
her most beloved; and
surrendering her thoughts to the morbid king of the kingdom of Lykers. The
wrinkled lake, rippling breaks and the resigning lunar light. Sparkling
the unintended reflection, rejuvenating righteousness, in the
sacred heart of Lykers's Desdemona- and her
screams can be heard echoing like a faded primadona. Yet,
yet, yet, holy since willingly. If thy
hero tries to stop the morbidity, it will be act of moral guilty. So the
rugged act of rage, confining
him in his moral cage- & thus hollow
screams are continued, and a
chain that cannot be muted, or
unchained, so thus thy hero waits letting his life, in the
hand of a faithful liar' to survive. Killing his mind, listening to heart. Will
this dream, this life, this trust will be drifted apart. His
children counts on to mercy of this charming damsel. Is she
a mother or just more cruel. The
hurricane hits the ocean and devastate the hopes like
pebbles beneath the fluid. Again,
again gaining nothing but weakly pleasure of
abandoning, in systematic Herminia. The
creeping lock-less enters again the cold dungeon, as the
castle outside is shinny warm, and thus thy hero wants to die in
another Romeo's tomb, yet to
be is to complete, what
will be his fate a staggering love with life or an
abandoned in weakly hatred? © 2013 Aneek Acharya Pandit |
